please don't remove snap apps during gameplays i love them

It will be very convenient to snap a helpful video during gameplay.

During gameplay, say "Xbox, snap Game DVR". It will let you start a clip, or record previous events up to five minutes prior, say "Xbox, switch" to toggle control between the two open apps.

I havent played Forza so I cant disagree with OP.

I do love the switching of apps and snapping during games. That is cool.

Right now implaying FIFA as it installs, I've got 5 apps/games queued waiting. Enjoying it.

I can't believe msft would remove the 10% time slice allocated to the snap, apps and kinect just to get 10% extra power within the time slice. I can see them reducing it to a lower %, but imagine the uproar when snap, Skype and voice commands stop working
during a game because a Dev used up the reserved time slice.

I'm not sure how high on the agenda social features are... but they should be somewhere near the bottom IMO. The focus should be on gaming first... and then you can take your pick for priority after that.

I've said before that the NXOE pretty much ruined the context menu/app access of the last UI. I defy any MS employee to access their achievements faster, or record some gameplay faster, say three minutes, without a Kinect, on this new UI... with the old
one running next to it, kicking its ***.

It's almost like snapped apps are going to be jettisoned in future, as the new UI forgets what you had snapped, and it has no rapid access to previously snapped apps. If users get comfortable with pants access to the snap feature, maybe we won't mind when
they remove that too in a future update.

I don't use snap half as much as I used to. Because it's become a chore. Heh.
