By the way he got me more angry than scared because he's already shown my whole class he can do this at school just before the end of the school year when I was in his class. We didn't realize at the time he should be arrested for what he was doing.

The only people approved by Microsoft to fix any Xbox console are Microsoft themselves.

They will never recommend any 3rd party repair as it's against the terms & conditions.

There is no app to remove "hacks" so don''t know where you got that from either.

If your on about the stars on your gamercard then they are to do with your rep on xbox live, they go up the more you play online/get feedback, they have nothing whatsoever to do with posting on the forums

  3. Randomne hey there Please do something :)

The PET (Enforcement Team) are more than capable at determining who is in breach of the ToU / CoC. A simple report will ensure an investigation is carried out as the PET review each and every complaint and conduct very thorough investigations.

As Daft Badger has addressed above, 3rd party repair shops / techs is against the ToU. The only people certified to conduct repairs are Microsoft themselves via the repair process found on site. Please follow through with the advice already given to you
    in this thread.

    Many thanks,

The 360 does not run unsigned code so no, the person in question isn't installing anything on your console.

If this person had somehow managed to break Microsoft's digital signature then it'd be much bigger news on the 'naughty' Xbox related sites.

  5. You have no idea how computers especially Xboxes work as in their programming and this guy works in conjunction with Microsoft so he isn't 3rd party.

  6. I guess you might have to have experience as a computer programmer to know what the hell I'm talking about.

  7. By the way I'm pretty sure he is big news in the hacker community but he may prefer to keep his exploits on the down low so he doesn't get arrested. One time he was working with 25 other people. The hack removing app probably isn't well known because it's
a government type program. The guy using the app got it from someone who used to work for the UK.

I've known people who talk rubbish in my time but you take the biscuit.

You really believe that if this person was capable of what you claim that it wouldn't be talked about all over the internet? You couldn't keep something like that on the 'down low'.

So the guy can tell when you're online... That's it? Doesn't sound like much of a hack or something to be worried about. Block communications with the guy and you shouldn't ever hear from him again.

And I'm pretty sure MS does not authorize ANYONE to do repairs on their consoles besides the place you send it into when you call their support number. It sounds more to me like someone is pulling a fast one on you.

    *edit*

Oops, didn't realize there's a 2nd page here. I am a computer programmer, and I say the guy is full of it. Block communications, ignore him, and move on. He hasn't done anything to your 360 and if you let someone besides Microsoft "repair" it for you then
you're only going to end up getting banned for system tampering. If you're really *that* worried about it, do a system restore to clear your hard drive and then your 360 will be back to the same state it was when you first bought it.

  11. I've met this guy before his only friend have been arrested at least once. Look up his name and you'll see that he has a huge arrest record for his age.

  12. The repairs are being done for free and if you had my experience with my xbox you would know it's hacked and there are more hacks than that on my console. Like I said before I know his name not his gamer tag.

Again, what experience leads you to believe that your 360 is hacked? The only thing you said is that the guy can tell when you're online and that's not a hack. You've set your profile to public view, so I can see what you're doing right now... "Last seen
6 minutes ago playing Xbox.com". Do you think I'm hacking too?

If the guy has shut of your 360 before or something like that then just don't join any games with him or any parties. You might want to update your settings too so that only friends can see when you're online, then he'll have no idea when you're on or what
you're doing and he won't be able to harass you.

You seriously do NOT want to let someone open your 360. Again, there is no such thing as an authorized 3rd party for repairs so if the guy changes out anything then you're likely to have your console banned for system tampering.

  14. He makes it extremely difficult to play online and he has to know I'm online to hack me and it is a hack because it's done illegally.

Like I said, it's not a hack. Anyone can tell when you're online if you have your privacy settings set to allow that (which you do). Again, I'd highly recommend updating your settings so that only friends can see your online status, and then just stay away
from the guy. There's absolutely NO reason at all to let someone open your Xbox and potentially get it banned from LIVE. This guy is obviously lying about what he can do and it'd be a shame for you to get in trouble because he tricked you.
