Please create more split screen games

There are some split screen games on the console, but like Zen said its easier and more profitable to make them run over Xbox Live.

If your really after a lot of split screen games perhaps take a look at the Nintendo Switch, nearly every game they do is co-op couch in some or another.

Splitscreen gaming would cut into the profit of the subscription for Xbox Live. This is why in recent years more splitscreen games have been released on PC than for consoles.

Why pay for a online subscription if you can play on one system with your friends.

First off split screen very rarely works across multiple consoles, if ever. Split screen was invented because of playing a game with multiple people on one console.

I also did some research and confirmed my suspicion that the split screen is only for couch co-op players only. Meaning that when you connect the consoles it creates a network causing the split screen multiplayer to not work the way you wish.
