Please check your Game Pricing in Xbox Stores

I^m wondering why a FIFA 15 Ultimate Edition costs 109.- on Xbox Store

But Only 85.- in a normal Market.

If I pay less I recieve a CD and can resell the game or borrow it to somebody.

So retail Disc is a loss of Business for you? isn^t it?

I don^t want say make Retail Disc expencier, I want you to make Games on Demand cheaper!

Here in Switzerland every Game as Retail Disc is WAY much cheaper thatn XBOX Store!

Tough to stay all digital

What, digital versions? PSN and Xbox Live pricing is kept higher than Steam pricing because retailers hold the threat of yanking physical copies of games off store shelves should publishers undercut stores dramatically.

PC game publishers are immune to that threat. PC gamers have embraced digital because PC gamers have had no "used" market for over two decades.

The same can be applied to games in the United States. The reason that games are cheaper on disc are that the retailers must move their unsold copies of each game to make room for new releases by either returning the unsold product to the distributor or
sell it for $20-$50 to get people into their store to buy other things that they make a profit on(both of which result in loses for the store on that item). If the Xbox Store was to begin offering games cheaper than the disc version, the retailers will begin
carrying only the gift cards and it will eventually result in stores that rely on used games such as Gamestop going out of business.

As such, most games will remain $60 for months after release for the digital version, even up to 24 months after release in the case of the Call of Duty Games.

But I think People would still get Retail Disc because exactly what you said. I also borrow some games to my Friends. and some Games which I know I will only Play one Time I will still get as CD because I can give it to a friend and he also can get the archiements..
Or I can stilll resell it.

But Games like Destiny, Halo and FIFA which are for me LONGPLAYERS I would like to purchase it Digital for a affordable Price.

Otherways they Need to lower the whole Price-Level in Some Countrys.

Espacially for @ID Games which are way to expensive for short playtimes, and afteerwards I Need to recognize that there more Episode coming.
