Please change the Refunding System refundable

I wish Microsoft Xbox can change the refunding system. Like they should make it to refundable at least to recent purchases, many people like me buy games online now, because we don't have to deal with with disc that can brake anytime and we can save it to
our account. The reason why they should make it to refundable is many people like me has a issue of some random people go to someone's account and buys games that you didn't even like. I wish they could change it so other like me could be more supported on
buying online instead of going out going to buy in the store... I hope you guys could understand me and please support my request.... Thank You

Anyone else getting preorder refunds from Amazon or elsewhere?

I am going thru my email and I have 2 refunds from Amazon on my Xbox One games.
I got this same email for all the games I preordered thru Amazon, bring the game cost
down to only $48.99 each.

Xbox One and Windows 10 Self-Service Refunds

Apparently, it was posted on the dashboard for alpha testers. Should launch soon.

To request a self-service refund:
1. Navigate to account.microsoft.com and sign-in.
2. From the top menu bar, select Payment & billing > Order history.
3. Navigate to a purchased game or app, and select Request a refund.

Please note the below conditions for requesting a self-service refund:
• Games and apps are eligible for self-service refunds within 14 days of purchase if you have less than 2 hours of play time across all accounts.
• DLC, season passes, and add-ons are not eligible for self-service refunds.
• The game or app must be downloaded and launched before requesting a self-service refund.
• You must wait for at least 1 day after the game or app's release before requesting a self-service refund.
• Certain Windows 10 apps may not be eligible for self-service refunds.

You're asking Microsoft for a refund for a product that's not theirs. For example, if you buy GTA V, that's made by Rockstar; or Call of Duty, that's made by Activision and so on.

When you buy that game, Microsoft handles the transaction and I'm sure Microsoft gets a small percentage of that transaction but its that game developer that is getting the money and it's up to that game developer if they want to give it back. When you buy
a game on disc, the license for that game is tied to the disc. You can sell that game if you want since the game and disc are tied together.

You have options on ways to buy the games but unless or until the game developers are going to give their money back for a game that you don't like or want. I wouldn't expect Microsoft to foot the bill for something like this.

feedback.xbox.com so the right people see it. There are a few threads there asking for the option.

If "some random people" are accessing your account, might I suggest using one of the many tools available to secure your account. On a console you can require a passkey be entered to log into your account or make a purchase.

On your account you can add two-factor authentication so you know when someone is logging into your account when not on an authorized device.

Those few simple security steps can prevent a lot of headache down the road.

Hello again, will have to wait 48 to see if the status changes again in your account, as the refund was approved the system should try again to make the refund.
