PLEASE BRING BACK 15 CHARACTER GAMERTAGS. I ACCIDENTALLY CHANGED MINE BECAUSE OF POORLY...

My gamertag was the same as my reddit name "TheLastMojojomo". I was just screwing around with changing it last night and accidentally changed it to "FlitterBits" while fooling around in a party with friends. It was unjustifiably easy. I typed in FlitterBits then clicked check availability. It took me to the next page where it said your new gamertag (Xbox One) and classic gamertag (Xbox 360) will be "FlitterBits". Then below it had two options that said "Change Gamertag" and "Customize Classic Gamertag" . I clicked Change gamertag thinking it meant edit the current gamertag because all I did was check availability for said gamertag but nope. Immediately changed my gamertag to "FlitterBits". No second prompt or anything. It's like since it was switching to the new system, and was free, it doesn't even ask "are you sure?". The worst part is my old gamertag was 15 characters and I can't get it back since the limit is now 12 characters. I changed it to something I actually somewhat like at least (for $10) and this time it did have a second prompt asking "are you sure?" as well as the purchase prompt. I was just talking to my friend and he said he did the same thing when he changed his gamertag a couple months ago. I had no idea that happened to him until today! I also already contacted Microsoft Support and they said there was nothing they could do.THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF PROMPTS FUNCTIONED CORRECTLY AND MADE LOGICAL SENSE. DON'T BE STUPID LIKE ME AND LET MICROSOFT SCREW YOU OUT OF A SENTIMENTAL GAMERTAG BECAUSE IF YOUR GAMERTAG IS CURRENTLY MORE THEN 12 CHARACTERS AND YOU CHANGE IT, ACCIDENTAL OR NOT, YOU WON'T GET IT BACK.
