    Hi there,

    I've just gone out and picked up a hardcopy of the game (GTAV). I unfortunately have a 0.6meg internet connection, which means the day one update of 1151MB is going to take me over a day and a half to download.

    I do however have access to a T1 wi-fi connection at university. Is there any way to download the patch to a flash drive to then authenticate and install tomorrow?

    I always keep the xbox connected to my exceptionally modest internet connection, therefore I cannot even load up the game once it has been installed from the disc. Any help would be fantastic.

    Whilst online, my xbox authenticates my games before I can play them, surely the DRM software shows that I have a disc copy or digital license. Would it not be fairly plausible to allow one to grab an update externally and install it from USB? To put it
    plainly, I cannot wait for three weeks to install a new AAA title...

    Allow patch for pes 2018

    Please allow patches for konami´s pes 2018 from usb. The patch isn´t dangerous for the system. Thanks

    Its back to saving up for a 500 GB OXM HDD for the 360 again.

    Please Microsoft. USB External HDD support... And allow me to play my Original Black Label Halo CE games on it. All it would cost you is the effort to formulate and release a patch.... Please!

    [/quote]I'm afraid the rep who told you of the USB storage was slightly misinformed. There was an Emergency Offline update page, which has since been pulled.

    IMPORTANT! In case the XB1 version of the game is crashing upon launch please REMOVE all additional USB devices and try again. This issue will be addressed in the upcoming 1.0.0.8 patch. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Xbox One Installation Stopped External Hard Drive

    Again..that was done. It was working fine and had games installed.then in February it stopped allowing updates to games installed on it and not allowing new games to install. It does allow apps so it's not a hard drive problem. Its Patch code.
