    Please acknowledge the problem.


    Like a number of others here, I am having the " connect to live" issue. Can see my friends list, when I ( we) trouble shoot it says everything is good ( and sometimes but there is a problem at our miscrosofts) end.

    Have reset router, xbox, signed in/out, .. on the ODD occasion I CAN get on there are chat issues, it's absolutely infuriating to pay for a service ( two of them actually including my sons) and NOT receive the product I pay for.

    It is NOT a problem with my ISP, My router, the way its hooked up, this all worked perfectly , both xbones onmy network without a hitch the first for a year and both for 6 months, right up until the recent update ( april 1st or whatever it was) Since then,
    nothing but trouble.

    Would REALLY love at LEAST a " yeah we know about it, working on it, sorry about that" from Xbox/Microsoft but so far theyre not even admitting there IS a problem.

  3. Microsoft, Please acknowledge the problem that so many people are having.....

    I'm experiencing the SAME issues. I have done the SAME checks TheSystemFailed has. And had the SAME results. And as TheSystemFailed said, there are multiple people on the forums that are experiencing the same issues and so are some of my friends. Please
    either fix it or admit that there is a problem at your end. It is incredibly frustrating...

    I am just curious as to what kind of router you are using , this problem (for some reason) seems to happen 99% of the time to people with isp issued "gateways" (modem and router combo)....I have 2 xbox ones and MANY friends I play online with , we all
    have our own equipment and none of us have ever experienced the problems I see here on a daily basis...it seems like it would effect everybody or nobody to me...

    Heya, Not using anything great but at the same time, Im not using the terrible isp issued thompson.

    I have a Netgear wndr 3800

    I run my xbox via ethernet and my sons on the 5gz. It's in direct line of sight and about 5 meters away so its always at 100% or near enough to it.

    Intreresting tidbit, In order to get onto live last night I had to put his box back onto 2.4gz. I think it was just coincidental that it worked though as every other time Ive had to mess around with it for hours and then its suddenly just decided to work
    after the fifth or 6th time I'm restting or signing in/out. At that point Im prety sure its nothing Ive done, its just that its decided to connect to live.

    Really strange though because whenever this happens I can actually see my friends list and who's online etc as if I am connected to live.

  6. Many have reported problems when using the 5ghz range on the xbox one for some reason , maybe use the 2.4 ...

    also , what is your modem ? (the router should be fine , Netgear usually works well with xbox) ...

    Same problem here. This has been going on for week. Last update about this was that the problem was related an ISP in Canada. Any more news? Is this going to be fixed? Please at least acknowledge this is being worked on.
