PlayStation- error says Microsoft account is logged into on another system.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you want to inquire about unlinking a Forza Horizon 5 account from your PlayStation 5.

According to Forza Horizon's FAQ, linking a Microsoft account to a PSN account is on a title-by-title basis and permanent. Players have the ability to unlink the Microsoft account to that PSN account, for Forza Horizon 5, but will be constrained to relinking to only that specific and originally linked, Microsoft account.

If you would like to attempt to recover your account, here are the detailed instructions on how you could proceed with the recovery.

1. Look up your username using your security contact phone number or email address.

3. Enter the code and select Next.

4. Microsoft will then show a hint of the username, in this format: j********@outlook.com

I have to full error msg now, I'm able to login to Microsoft on any other device but not PS4 for some reason,

"Oops! Looks like the Microsoft account you are trying to use is already connected to another account on the "PlayStation Network"

Please sign in with a Microsoft account that is not already linked on

Is the error msg, I can't login with another because this is my only Microsoft account and idk how to logout with this one on playstation without knowing where it is logged into.

If you are receiving an error message saying that your Microsoft account is already connected to another account for PlayStation Network, it is likely that your Microsoft account has been previously linked to another PlayStation Network account. In order to find out which account this is, you will need to try to log in to your PlayStation Network account using your Microsoft account credentials. If you are able to log in to your PlayStation Network account using your Microsoft account, then you will be able to see which account it is connected to.

Alternatively, you can try contacting PlayStation customer support for assistance in finding out which account your Microsoft account is connected to. They should be able to provide you with more information and help you resolve any issues you may be having.

Same thing is happening to me on my ps4. It says my account is already connected to another account but I received an email saying that the Microsoft account was logged into PlayStation but on my ps minecraft shows that I’m not logged in. I’ve already contacted PlayStation and Minecraft and they both told me the same thing but nothings changed. I’m in desperate need of help

Sort of, I was logging back into Microsoft on Minecraft right and while doing this it told me that I already had another account. So I tried multiple new emails and passwords but went back to error. You already have an account on PlayStation network. Nothing would fix it so I completely created another account on PlayStation and I’ve logged into Microsoft in Minecraft but it logs me back out every time I close the game but that irrelevant. The point is that it tells me error and nothing works not even deleting it and retrying but it’s all good now I believe I just got 1 month PS Plus and I’m hoping it works but if not I’ll let you know.
