PlayStation and Microsoft

I am trying to play Minecraft on my PS4. I went inside to the Minecraft demo and tried to log in to Minecraft with my account, I click on sign into Minecraft with my Microsoft Account on the load in screen and it won't let me do anything, I also went into PlayStation settings and connect my Microsoft there and I couldn't find how to. Am I not able to log in to Minecraft with the Microsoft account because it is Minecraft Demo? Do I have to buy Minecraft on the PlayStation and Microsoft?

So, do you downloaded the demo on your PS4?

If you never purchased the PS edition, you need to purchase it

Minecraft needs to be purchased in each platform, one single purchase on a specific platform only works for that platform

if you are trying to sign into Minecraft on the PlayStation you need to create a Microsoft account and setup an Xbox gamertag etc and then log into Minecraft on the PlayStation with that.
