    xbox music playlist shuffle

    Is there a way to save the shufflePlaylists and shuffle :eek:n setting in Xbox music so that it's selected by default. It's annoying having to start a playlist then select the shuffle on setting, it remembers the setting on my Xbox but not my SurfaceRT.

    Unfortunately there is no way to shuffle the playlists. I would like to see this added in an update.

    Hi Psyonis,

    press and hold to "right-click" on "My Musik", the menu will opening. At the bottom-right corner you can set the options to shuffle. It should now always be activated for all you music collection.

    yeah, tried this and still every time it defaults to off when you start a playlist. tried uninstalling xbox music and reinstalling and still defaults to off.

    I have a few playlists on YouTube that I made for parties or background music or whatever. It's quite nice to use YT for this as then the videos play in the background.

    YT of course has an option to shuffle when playing your own, or any other playlist, but when you play via xbo there is no shuffle option. Therefore they will all be added in the order you added them, which often has clusters of one artist at a time.

    What kind of playlists would you want to shuffle on YouTube? I've never seen or heard of this feature or needed a use for it, so please, enlighten me. :)
