Playlist on Surface grayed out songs with xbox music

I have a Surface 3. Usually, my playlists work fine but today 3/4 of my songs on a playlist are now grayed out with a mini exclamation point saying that they can't be played. My surface automatically uses the xbox music app for music and there have been
no recent updates. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

Here is what I can share...

The initial playlist I created on a Xbox synced on my 920. The title shows but only the songs that I have previously purchased on Zune show.

I created a new playlist on my phone and it did not sync to my Xbox nor did it sync with my surface.

I created a new list on my surface and it did not sync with the 920, but did with the xbox. but if that song is from my library, it will not play on the xbox... if it is a song I downloaded from xbox music on the surface it will play on the xbox.

I then downloaded some songs on the surface from the store, using my xbox music account...not purchased, and also not my own library, and they did sync with the Zune purchased songs that were already synced on my 920

Essentially... I can not sync anything from xbox or surface to my 920.

 

XBOX Music Playlist Question

Yes these songs are synced to the cloud as they all show up on my Surface and XBOX. These are not physical files I am adding. These are songs I find within XBOX Music and add to playlists I am creating within XBOX Music.

To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

• Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox Music app from your Surface 3?
• Does the same issue occur when you use your Xbox Music account on a different device?
• Do you have an active Xbox Music or Groove membership?

 

My subscription is fine. The music in my collection shows up regularly and I can play it from there with no problems but the same songs in the playlist are grayed out. I have not tried to uninstall the app, I didn't know I could. I only use my surface with
the xbox music, I don't have any other xbox device.

  Groove web site?

• Have you tried to sign out and sign in to your account on the app?

• Did you purchase those songs that are currently grayed out?
