    Not after all the whiners last year moaning about online.

    If you want discless play you have to go digital now.

    Darn us whiners...wanting to own our property.

    As it should be. Why buy a disc in the first place if you want digital? Sub-par internet?

    In my opinion they should offer more options on media like Blu-ray movies...disc, disc + digital copy for an added cost. There is technology for "chipped" discs that would prevent people from abusing the system.

    There is a workaround - rent the game from GameFly or Redbox, install it, then buy the digital version off the Xbox One store. The digital version will recognize the disc install is already on the console and use it instead of forcing a re-download of the
    entire game.

    The xbox one will still play disk based games without the update. It just won't do much else.
