PLaying xbox games bought from pc

Hello, so i bought forza horizon 4 through the Microsoft Xbox game store on my windows 10 computer. And was wondering if i can still access that game on my xbox one X if i use the same login details. eg the one i used to buy the game(Microsoft account).

Only play anywhere games bought from xbox store or microsoft store on PC can be used on both console and pc. Games bought from steam can't.

The game is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, so yes, you can play it on the Xbox One X if you log in with the same details you used to purchase the game.

The problem isn't to do wth the OPs pc, it's to do with where they bought the game from.

The OP paid for the game from Xbox.com and because of that Fifa games can only be played on Xbox consoles.

If the OP had bought the game from Steam or Origin then they can play the game on a PC.

As far as I know, Fifa games were never play anywhere games and if they were the OP would be able to play them on a pc via the Xbox app.

Currently you will only be able to play games between PC and Xbox if the game on PC is bought from the Microsoft Store (Windows 10), and if it is crossplay enabled.

Games bought on Steam will not be able to be played with gamers on conaole as they use different coding to make the game.

If you bought it on the Epic store, that would be the PC version of the game. You'd need to purchase it from Xbox or use Game Pass to play it on the console.
