    Playing Xbox 360 Through Xbox One Lag Issues


    I been playing my 360 through my One for a while now and it works really but they are a couple of games that have lag issues that (if anyone has even tried playing a game console through a dvd recorder before will know what I am talking about) makes gameplay
    kind of difficult. I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a way fix this little issue such as splitting the connects or something like that?

    I've been playing assassins creed revelations on 360 through my Xbox one and there was no noticeable lag.

    Still no issues for me. Just ran through 30 ranks and had zero lag. BTW xbox 360 and XBOX one require different port configurations in the router.

    Playing Xbox 360 Through Xbox One Lag Issues

    Simple, you should not play anything that is time sensitive thru a pass-thru, the signal encoding and processing is going to introduce lag that you can't get around. It works fine for tv etc... but interactive things are going to be screwed.

    The Xbox one is adding all of its interface etc... to the 360 signal, that takes time, and if that time is too much it makes the 360 unplayable. put the 360 on its own hdmi port and play on.

    I agree. Even though it works, its problematic at best.

    X1 has blown me away...

    I'm UK, I'm actually running my Xbox 360 through the hdmi so I can switch from 360 to xbox one just by saying 'xbox tv' for pseudo backwards compatibility. I've so far played videos off the xbox 360 through the one with no lag, run last.fm on the 360 through
    the one with no lag, and played assassins creed revelations on the 360 through the one with no lag, so not sure why your tv input would be laggy just running sky, maybe something on the sky box side of things?

    Are we going to be able to play 360 games through the cloud?

    Even if Xbox Live releases something similar to Gaikai, it's probably easiest just to hold on to your old Xbox 360 & games for it and play them through the HDMI pass-through that is provided on the xbox One. This way, you're not spending more money on games
    that you already own or having to deal with lag issues through streaming.
