    Playing Xbox 360 discs on my Xbox One


    I just downloaded Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 for the Xbox 360 onto my Xbox One and everything seemed to be running smoothly tillI opened the game. It loaded like normal, but when I tried to click on the xbox live option it told me I needed to download my
    account. I tried the current account I have on y Xbox One, but it didn’t work. I don’t remember my 360 account so I couldn’t recover it. It also gave me no option to create a new profile. Is there any way I can download my current profile or manage to play
    the game without this popping up?

    The compatibility for discs and games only works backwards, not forwards. Xbox One discs can be played on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 discs (being the older console) can be played on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, Xbox discs (being the oldest console) can be
    played on all three consoles. The Xbox One is currently the newest console that is out, and therefore, its games only works on its system.

    Past that, you'll have to get the right disc to play on the Xbox 360... it should say Xbox 360 on the case and the disc for the game.
