Playing with no Disc if I owned

I would like to know if the game has already been installed from my disk, why do I have to insert it every time I want to play it? Would not it be easier to not have to insert the disk to play it? It would be easier to mark it in the Xbox Live database
that I already have the game physically and be able to use it and download it without problems once I insert the disk for the first time so I do not have to keep using the disk, if it goes to install anyway, would be better. How can I do to no longer have
to use the disk every time I want to play?

This games online mode is completely unplayable

I've had no issues with the online play - I think the problem lies with your pre-owned disc. Have you tried playing online with another disc or at a friend's house. That should at least give you an idea of where the problem lies.

 

Game left in Console?

As a former Playstation Fanboy who owned every playstation, I owned the PS2 Fat and it had a similar disc drive to the 360. The disc will be fine, as long as you don't move the console.

It was designed that way. Imagine if you had to remove the disc everytime you stopped playing. What an inconvenience that would be huh?

 

It's to help prevent piracy. It's to verify that you actually own or have possession of the disc. Otherwise, anyone could just borrow disc, install it, and get the game without buying it. Otherwise, you would need to purchase the games digitally in order
to not have to worry about a disc.

 

The console needs to verify you still own the game. For instance if you loan the game from a friend or a rental service if you could play it without the disc you would never need to buy a game again

Thanks for reaching out! Whether a game is purchased on disc or download it from the Microsoft Store, you need to install it on your console’s hard drive before you can play it.

I recommend buying games directly from the digital store on your Xbox, so the license of the game will always belong to your account. Usually you can find better deals on there than in physical stores.
