    Playing with a different local account with xbox live?


    My daughter and I really love this game. She wants to be able to play with her own account so she can use her own handle and level up on her own accord. But if we try to play with her local account, it says "xbox live is required" and won't use my xbox live
    account. Don't tell me I have to pay for two xbox live accounts so she can play using her login?

    Microsoft account required to play with a local profile?

    Just download a required update on Xbox 360 and now my daughter seems to need a Microsoft account to play with her local profile? She's been playing with this local profile for years and she doesn't have an email account. Is there a way around this? Why
    does she need this for her local profile?!

    Are you playing with two different controllers and with two different profiles signed in at the same time? Are you trying to play a local game or are you mistakenly selecting the Xbox LIVE multiplayer option? Let us know. Thanks!

    Usually yes, you have to pay the gold for two accounts in order to play with two accounts online.

    .

    But in this game you can not play multiplayer in split screen!

    You can only play offline and as you get no points or cheevos for this, you can use a guest account (nerkomn1) and it would be the same thing

    It depends on which xbox you are using.

    On xbox one only one account has to have a gold membership for other accounts to play online.

    On xbox 360 you will need a gold membership for each account.

    Yes, I know and it is entirely unfortunate you cannot play split screen on multiplayer!

    I have an Xbox One, Malacath. I will log in to my account, then I press X on the home screen to change profiles. When I select my daughter's profile it says that it does not have Xbox Live Privileges. Somewhat frustrating.

    Any ideas?

    Is your console set as the Home console in your profile settings?

    To share gold your profile has to have your console set as the Home console.

    You can do this in the settings app while signed in to the gold profile.

    It depends on which xbox you are using.
