    So it’s my birthday and I got a new monitor to play Xbox on, I get it set up and I’m playing COD Cold War when, in the middle of the game, the whole application just closes with no explanation. So I try again, play a couple games, then boom same thing. Ok, must be WiFi I or something because every time it happens a pop up on the bottom of the screen says “installations stopped” and then “external storage ready”. So I get on a different WiFi network at my house, playing madden this time, and mid game (I’m winning 21-0 unfortunately) the same thing happens, the game immediately closes, it doesn’t even look like a regular crash. Usually you laugh and get a black screen or something, but it just, idk how to explain it, closes the game for lack of better words.

    The explanation might be as simple as, "oops". Maybe there's a typo in a big block of code. Or maybe they are looking at code that looks perfectly fine in every way but just won't compile... I hate that.

    Hi, is there a fix for this yet? I just tried playing Doom 3 on my laptop outputting image to a TV via HDMI. When I'm on the notebook screen, the game runs just fine, but on the TV it just starts booting and then closes - even after I set my notebook to only output image to the TV screen. I even tried opening the game on one screen then sending it over to the other, but once I do this it just closes itself without explanation.

    I game on a 32" and it's perfectly fine, providing I sit up reasonably close to it, which I do.

    No you will be perfectly fine playing any game with a silver account. Even if the game is multiplayer you’ll be fine playing anything locally. You just wouldn’t be able to play games online without a gold membership.
