Playing online with borrowed game discs

Hi,

I have two versions of elder Scrolls online, original and morrowind expansion (both on discs and both contain the full game).

I originally used the original (non-morrowind version) to install the game on my Xbox but then later got the morrowind edition which I've used to install the DLC on my Xbox. Since I have two discs I'm planning on lending my other disc to my brother so we
can play together.

However we are concerned that since both discs have been used in my Xbox that the serial codes for the discs are now registered to my account and attempting to play simultaneously may cause problems.

Could someone help clear this up? I'm hoping that there shouldn't be any issues and it should just be like installing a second hand disc?

My xbox won't read a specific game?

I have borrowed discs from 2 of my friends and neither of them worked for me... I tried downloading to the HDD but I got the same problem, it won't load the online multiplayer mode. Should I send my xbox back in?

Hi!

If the codes of Morrowind have been redeemed on your profile, the game can not be used by another account. The content is linked to the profile with which it was redeemed. I tried it myself (I have two consoles at home), and Morrowind only works with the
primary profile.

It's the main game I'm more concerned with not the DLC part - sorry for the confusion.

The concern is that both discs have been used in my Xbox and so perhaps when they were installing a serial number related to the specific disk was registered to my account. So since I won't be uninstalling ESO from my account IF there were some sort of serial
number the system may believe I am using some sort of duplicate copy when my brother uses the same disk to install and play on his account?

I hope this makes sense.

Only the codes are associated to your account and cannot be redeemed a second time, but the discs still can be borrowed because there aint a code, the disc himself is the license.

Ummmm, you can borrow games on disc, You need the disc to play.

There is another option open to you other than either buying a new disc or getting it repaired. Borrow the game from a friend, install it to your hard drive if you have one and then try using your disc to play the game. Of course there is always the chance
that the damaged section of the disc may be needed to play online or something in which case you would be back to square one, buying the game again or attempting to get the disc repaired.
