Playing online multiplayer and someone used a cheat that unlocked everyone's achievements!

I'm not sure how many others have had this issue before? It's only ever happened in one of my online matches, someone was using all sorts of cheats/mods, turning everything multicoloured and loads of flashy weird stuff going on... Next thing I know the achievements
start unlocking one by one! Exited the game... Carried on unlocking, shut down the console and re booted and I now have 100% completion and 2,000 points added to my gamerscore for a game I never intended to even start the campaign on.

So frustrating, as it was unlocked by a random person cheating, is there any way to get Microsoft to remove it??

True!



That's why personally I'd like to see any achievements associated with playing online scrapped altogether.

 

Online Achievement Unlocked Without Timestamp

It should not be possible to have an unlocked online-only achievement without a date showing. The complication is that, for example, not all multiplayer achievements are "online only"-- some games allow for such achievements to be unlocked by local,
offline play or System Link, but some games do not. Often, achievements that are online-only will say "online" or "ranked" in their descriptions to indicate that they can't be unlocked offline, but not always.

 

I will suggest to contact the support of microsoft and explain the problem to a technician

I would advise reporting and blocking the person from your Xbox.
