    Hello,

    I have an xbox one x and want to play Gears of War 5 split screen. However, the way it's split often causes my dad and I a headache. Is it possible for me to play on a PC/Mac while he plays on the TV with the xbox?

    In case it helps, I only have one Xbox game pass account. I'd rather not get a second.

    On Mac you would need to have game pass ultimate and use the steps here

    Then you won't be using split screen, you will be gaming like if everyone have their own XBox, each one with his own account, on the Mac the account that bought the subscription and in the Xbox any other account as home Xbox will share the subscription in that Xbox

    Hi there,

    it might depend on the game, is it on a Disc? if so then it won't be possible, since the disc can only be used in the console.

    If the game is a digital version (that supports Xbox Play anywhere) then you will need two devices to run the game on, so a console and a PC. To be able to install the game on a Windows 10 PC as long as the PC meets the requirements of the game and play the game from that device. After which you can create a party for you two and play the game 'online' together

    It's not possible to connect multiple devices to the console, so it's not possible to use 2 screens on one console to play together.

    I was able to configure my Xbox as the home Xbox. Forgive my ignorance, but how do I sign in to xbox on my PC? Or more conveniently, my Mac?

    And just to verify, if this works, that means I can play split screen with one screen being on the tv, and the other on my the computer?

    Sure, configure the console as the home Xbox of the account that has game pass so it would be shared in that console with all the profiles, and in the Pc you can use the profile that owns the subscription
