playing on other xbox

So i have halo masterchief collection downloaded to my hdd . And i wanna bring it to a friend to play . But i cant seem to login on another xbox . some say ( on the internet ) that i should just be able to login some say i should be able to downlaod my profile
and bring it to him . Now is my question am i able to play my games on another xbox one or not .

Playing games on other profiles

I recently purchased Tom Clanceys HAWX. I figured why not, since it was only £2.69. I have a gold family membership and my kids have no problem accessing the game on their profiles on my Xbox. The kids have their own Xbox so I thought I may as well download
it again onto their Xbox. However, when they come to play it on their Xbox they get a message that it can only be played on the profile it was downloaded on. I'm a bit confused why the game works on one Xbox for all the profiles but on the other it will only
work on one profile.

 

Playing games on other profiles

It's the way licensing works. When you download content it is tied to the gamertag it was purchased on as well as the console it was purchased on. The console license is what allows your kids to be able to play the game while they are on that console that
you purchased the game on. Your profile is the only profile that will be able to redownload and play the content on any other console as long as you are signed into Live.

If you log into your friends console all of your downloaded content should be available for you to download and play. If you own the disc version of the game all you will need to insert the disc install the game and play.

I personally have all of my games installed to an external hard drive then all I need to do is plug the drive in log into my profile and play from the external drive need to download of install the game on another console.

 

So how do you log in to another xbox ?

I tried but it never works.
