Playing on another region

Hello guys,

I have a problem, I'm a brazilian xbox one player and so I set my region to BR, where the only language option available is portuguese, but I enjoy the most of the games when the audio and the names are on its native language (most of the time it's english),
being so, I buy the games I want on the Brazilian Xbox Store, and then change my console region to USA, but recently one of my friends told me that I could get banned for putting my region on the system settings on to a place where I don't actually live.

I'm asking you, can I buy the games on the native store (BR), and then after change the console region to the USA? Have anyone tried that and got banned? I tried to contact support but somehow it ain't working.

Are Xbox One games region free?.

Hi people, i wanted to know if Xbox One games were region free, like if someone had to play only the base game and not the DLCs. Is an Xbox One game bought from one region going to run in another region?.

A question on my account

If the game is licensed on the console he should have no problem playing it on another account no matter the region linked to that account.

Are buying a digital copy as a gift to someone else another region other than yours? Or do you own the game and playing on a different console in another region?

Yes. There is no playback restriction on games purchased and downloaded.

For example, if you purchase and download a game in one country and then move to another country where the game isn’t available, you can still play the game that you downloaded. However, you would not be able
to redownload the game you purchased, as it would not be available for you to download in the Store

Either buy a new game or console. The simple answer is you can't play a game from one region on a console from another region... unless the game is region-free!

Hey there, unfortunately it seems like that's part of what happens when you migrate your account. Account and billing issues should no longer arise but...

What will not move with a migrated account?

This one’s especially important! No digital content is guaranteed to work after a migration. This includes things like avatar items, games, DLC, TV and Video content. If it’s not available in your target region, you’re not going to be able to get it back.
So, before you migrate, you’ll definitely want to make sure everything you want is downloaded onto your console. (It’s not a bad idea to back it up on a USB as well, just in case!)

All Xbox Music and Zune Music passes are automatically canceled when you move, and remaining subscription time cannot be refunded. That means you won’t be able to listen to music you’ve downloaded, stream music, or use any other features of these subscriptions,
until you restart those subscriptions!
