Playing offline set my progress really far back

I was play rdr2 and my internet was down for a few days. I was basically finished with the game and my internet went down. I decided to play offline and it had saved my process. But the next day when I decided to play it set me back like a couple days on
progress. When i got on the internet again it hadnt fixed my progress again. And it wont sync back my old progress. Anyway to fix this?

Hello Outkast,

Sorry for the issue with your save data. At this point there would be no way to recover the data due to it has synced back with your cloud save and you continued to play so it has saved since. Sometimes when playing offline it will not save correctly and
set you back some.

A long shot but,

You can try removing and then adding your account back, then restart the game and see if you can pull some magic for there. For the most part like agent Brad sad, playing offline will often lead to issues with saving progress.

As far as I'm aware you can. 8% progress isn't that far into story.

I had to restart after 45% progress because of the companion glitch that was patched.

Settings - Network - Go offline. That puts the console into offline mode, then you can sign in and play your games. If you don't do that, then as far as games are concerned, you're connected to Live, so of course when Live is down then things don't work
as intended.

To go back online you just go back into Settings - Network and choose "Go online".

Hello I'm having a similar problem, Phantom pain plays just fine but I played for a few hours the other day (offline) and I seen the autosave come up so I assumed It saved my progress but the next day all my progress was lost I did a factory restart I started
againfrom the hospital, I played past the hospital and and got to the point of Ocelot and Snake In the dessert, this time around I played online until that point, I figured It saved. I was wrong, I played offline again for a few more hours and turned my console
off after another autosave. The next day my progress was gone again only this time It loads my progress to where Ocelot and Snake begin In the Dessert. Do I need to play online or Is this an Issue that everyone Is having? Because people are saying they can
play and have It save offline but I can't I really need some help.
