Playing offline not possible

Hello,

as the title says for me it is not possible to start FH3 without working internet connection. I tried everything suggested by X-Box support Homepage... I play on PC , Windows 10, 64bit latest version

Hope anyone has another suggestion for me

(sorry for my maybe bad english, I'm german...)

Why won't my Xbox 360 play certain saved game files?

I'd just tried deleting the update and playing the game offline, but same problem. Do you know any other possible suggestions? Thanks.

 

Hi Max,

The Forza Horizon 3 Campaign mode is playable offline. However, the following in-game mode requires an online connection:

• Online Co-Op
• Online Free Roam
• Online Multiplayer
• Auction House
• Rivals
• Forzathon
• Clubs

In addition, features like ability to purchase in-game items and syncing game achievements are not accessible while your device is offline.

To play the game offline, you'll need to enable Offline mode on Windows 10. See
Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode for the steps.

thank you for your reponse. I already knew that and I also followed the steps on the troubleshooting page of microsoft. But my game won't even start when I am in flight mode or have no internet (my internet is sometimes really bad :/...)

I have another question about Add Ons in Forza Horizon 3:

I have a microsoft account logged in my store. The problem was that I am not set as 18 in this account so serveral features like designs were closed for me. I tried everything to set my age to 18 or older but even with a family created with a over 18 account
I could not change the important settings... So I was forced to make myself a gaming ID for my x-box app with an age of over 18 and I play with this one now.

My question so is now whether I can play for example the new hot wheels Add On with the gaming ID even when I bought it on my store ID...

All game and in-game content licenses are associated to the Microsoft account used to purchase the item. To access the item, you'll need to sign in with the same account you've used to purchase it. If you're having issues accessing the item due to privacy
restriction, we suggest that you follow the steps provided on this
link on how to update your account's privacy settings.

Back to the issue you're experiencing with playing Forza Horizon 3 offline, we suggest that you check if there are updates available for the game and the device. Refer to the following links for the steps:

Regarding the account problem I need to say that I also tried that once and it did not work for me... I tried again and for some reason it now works I have access to all designs and the auctions! Thanks a lot! But because I did not play on this ID for
so long I don't have all the unique Forzathon cars like the Sesto Elemento... Do you know any way to get the cars on my other gamertag or game? Or is it even possible?

However I tried the step you told me regarding the offline-problem but my system and my apps are both the newest version available...

The game progress and achievements are associated to the Microsoft account used to play the game. This is to ensure account security and fair game play for all Xbox gamers. We don't allow the transfer of game progress and items earned from one account to
another for account protection. If this was allowed, there would be gamers who would create several accounts, and then combine progress and achievements just to get a higher gamer score. Now that you have access to the designs and auctions, continue playing

Well, I do actually have another problem except from the offline issue.

When a friend invites me or I unlock an achievement or Forzathon-car there should be seen a pop up message ingame which is however not existant for me (I do have everything enabled in the X-Box app)... Maybe you know a way to fix it Would be nice if friends
could invite me and I joined them with clicking on the message.

To clarify your concern, may we know if you've tried checking the notifications area in the Xbox app? Other gamers resolve this issue by checking the messages in the Xbox app.

Another solution you may perform is to start a private online session. Invite your friend, and then start the in-game mode that you want to play.

Thanks. I could not try it for now but I will soon...

Do you have maybe another solution for the offline problem? My wifi is currently extremely unstable and I really do want to play the game...
