Playing music without having the app snapped all the time.

I would really like to have the ability to listen to music on the console without having to keep the music app snapped all the time. The 360 was able to do that so I hope that will come to the Xbone soon. My monitor is 21.5". I sit fairly close to
it already and I don't really want to sit any closer.

    :)

    Question about background music feature

I mean, there are already some Windows 10 apps like 'Stream What You Hear', that allow you to output your real-time PC audio to DLNA, which I can then listen to in the Xbox Media Player app (snapped while playing a game). That's all fine. So, will the
background music feature allow me to do the same thing, but without having to snap?

Xbox commercial just made my Xbox start playing music

Umm, I'm playing Madden (fortunately paused) while I have the TV app snapped and a commercial plays in which a guy says, "Xbox Play Music". And my stupid game switches to Xbox Music and starts playing music!?!?!?!

Can I mute TV volume and have game audio up while the darn TV app is snapped!??!?!

You need to have the Xbox Music App installed, but yes, music works the same way. I haven't figured out how to get it to play over the background without snapping the music app, but I'm sure an update will clear that up because it seems like a nice feature
    to have.

Perhaps a command to 'hide' the snapped app and another command to 'show' the snapped app so that you don't need to exit out of the app when you want to get it out of the way.
