Playing in english, while region is germany

Hello there,

why isnt it possible to play games in english, when your region is set to germany?

In almost every game the voiceover is way better in english than in german, but if you live in germany, you cant set your region to germany and language to english. if you do, you lose your wifi connection and you cant use your store.

Why do you lock the language that you can choose to the region, instead of giving us the option to choose the language in every region?

By lockin it you just made the console more complicated. Its not like you need to download anything then. Everything you need to change the language is on the console already. I mean it works as long as i play offline, but as soon as i need to connect to
the internet ( and in which game i dont need to be connected to the internet? in destiny im only able to play the first mission offline) i have to switch back to german again....

Unable to select Germany as location

You have to use the region migrations tool to migrate to germany

And no there is no English content in germany

 

Setting English while not being in an English-speaking region

Dear Microsoft Support,

I live in Germany, and have a new Xbox One (yay!). I would like to set the interface and game languages to English. However, whenever I want to do this, I have to set a region not being Germany, but instead any other English-speaking country. But, setting
another region will certainly lead to other issues with region-locked content, at the worst offering wrong region-based content on the interface level, while upon selecting that content blocking it on a network level.

So, how do I set English as Xbox One language, without setting a wrong region?

To be honest I don't know what Microsoft were thinking of when they did this, this as gone on since day one and nothing as been done, I'm English and live in UK so I don't have a problem unless I moved to a country like Germany, Just wondering when you get
email or message from Microsoft/XBL is it in German or English.

 

support is usually in german.

what about those american soldiers in germany on military bases like rammstein. guess they got an us vpn, because they also get the full netflix program.

ye but its so unneccessary.

 

When the preview started we had a feature request page this was always up there, Then they brought in the uservoice forum for feature requests that's the only thing you can do and hope they actually do something.
