Playing games on disk ?

Need some help

Just purchased x box one s . Installed it was fine .but every time we try and play a game it ask us to sign in online . We got this xbox with the understanding we chould play off line as long we had disk. And set setting up to offline after game has been
installed first time . Any help would be appreciated

Are you being asked to sign-in with select games or all of your games?

Some games require an internet connection and cannot be played "offline". Which game are you trying to play?

All games ..the 2 we are trying to play are madden and battlefield V ..

We did exactly what that link said and if we shut off the console and come back later its ask us to sign in and won't work until we do that . Then start game the go off line once everything syncs. Even with the disk in console.
