Playing Games Offline question

I mostly play story campaign modes so besides updating my Xbox one once in a while I usually play games offline. I have the Original Xbox one. I know that you need internet to play multiplayer as well as do many other functions but as far as graphics go, will the graphics look better if the Xbox is connected to internet or it doesn't matter? I have 1080P TV so will the game still display in 1080P even thou I'm playing offline?

Nope, absolutely no difference.

You don't need to change these settings if you're not using the HDMI in.

OK thanks for your help. I have another question. I do not use HDMI In port for anything because I don't have cable or settelite, I just use HDMI out to connect to TV and that's it. But there are lots of settings on xbox when it comes to One Guide. Are those settings only applicable if I'm using HDMI Inn? Or do I still have to set anything up there even thou I don't watch TV on Xbox.

OK thank you I also do not connect my TV to internet. Its an older smart TV so I don't get much benefit from connecting to internet, so if the TV is offline it doesn't effect Xbox graphics or resolution either right?

Hi,

Xbox games don't steam graphics from the internet. There will be no visual difference playing a game when connected to Live or not. You're not missing out on anything visually while offline.
