Playing games after install

After i install any game whether old system or new can I play without the game disc. I'm paraplegic and in bed a lot when I play XBOX ONE X which I really love a lot, but the damn consoles on thee other side of the room to try and
switch game disc when ready to play another game.

SimplyThom Rockstar have actually said don't install the play disc after installing the install disc, as this can create problems and issues while playing the game

So you can't play a game until you install the game?

Its a one time install and you don't have to wait for the install to finish, you can start playing after a few minutes depending on the game.

Hi

The only games you will be able to play without having the disc are the digital versions of a game that have been purchased through the store on the console or by redeeming a code. If you purchase a game on disc the game will get installed to the console
but need the disc in the console to allow you to play the game.

Hey there Jodilla - what is the exact error message you see when trying to launch a game after it's been installed? Also, what titles are you having issues with?

yes i've tried everything on that post. lol, and yes the game is in the drive.

I'm going to be that guy and ask if the disc is still in the drive when you try to play your installed games.
