Playing FIFA online in a party

Hi everyone

really hoping someone can help me here.

I am trying to play FIFA 22 with a friend. We both have the game on our consoles, we both have xbox live and we are connected as friends.

The EA accounts are both fine, linked and are adult accounts.

We can get into a party fine but are unable to speak/hear each other and, most importantly, the join game/invite to game options are greyed out and not selectable.

Any ideas?!

Hello RyanFerris1, from what you described I'm assing that the two have the live Gold subscription active in the accounts, however you've tried to verify NAT, it can affect online gameplay.

Test the NAT Xbox One

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Click Profile and system > Settings > General > Network Settings.

Under Current network status, the NAT Type field displays the current NAT type.

Ideally, it's open.

No it's not a connection problem as i can play fifa online or minecraft.

It's only for cod bo2 that i can't reach any party...

Any idea ?

A little late to this 'party' but my son hasn't been able to play FIFA online since FIFA 11 (FIFA 10 was fine!).

He's actually 14 now and STILL can't play online. All EA have done is lose a player who really wanted to use Ultimate Team etc (extra money for EA) and now he's probably going to switch to Pro Evo.

Pretty pointless employing this extra 'protection' when the console is fully geared up for this already.

Question 3..... no 1. Where is 11vs11 Online TeamPlay for ALOT of players like me who like useing real teams with big Party groups of Fifa Friends / Fifa Mates / Fifa Amigos...???

this is NOT resolved, playing fifa last night with friends, i stream, so running party chat through the PC. i COULD NOT connect to party chat at all. yet, had no server issues with xbox or fifa.
