    Playing DVD


    The xbox 360 has format change, on the XBOX one there is no format change, playing movie that is 16-9 or letterbox it detects as regular 4-3 or pillar box format and unable to change it.

    Is this anyway to add this?

    Was just wondering, when using xbox to play dvds, is it multi-region, or set to the region you bought xbox in?

    Definitely try the steps provided by xX Yggdrasil Xx first. If that doesn't work, make sure to also ensure that your Xbox One Console settings are optimized following the steps outlined in

    this guide    .

    Hey there! From what I'm seeing in the Settings menus and during playback, there is no option to change the aspect ratio of a movie. If you would like this feature added, I would recommend suggesting it at

    Also, that error you got has been happening to me too. It seems to be an issue with the forums.

    Awesome thank you. That did the trick. I created a hotspot through my cell phone I had to install the app the Blu-ray player and now I'm watching DVDs offline. thanks again and take care
