Playing downloaded content on another profile

I apologize if this question has been asked before, which I'm sure it has. On my original profile, I purchased black ops 2 and a few other games. Well, I decided to create a new profile and put xbox live on it instead. I tried playing a couple of the downloaded
games that I purchased on my original account and it says the games cannot be launched. Is there some sort of loophole around this, or am I straight out of luck? It's a disappointment that I bought all these games and can't play them because I decided to create
another profile. Any help is appreciated! Thanks guys!

Gh3 - Downloaded content?

No,any downloadable content is able to be accessed by any profile on that xbox 360.
exactly the same principal as downloading an arcade game on your profile,and your wife/partner/anybody else being able to play on theirs.

HELP - DLC not accesible

Just to add to this, DRM based content is issued with two licenses, one to the console ID and one to the Gamertag that downloaded it, so to use this content on another console the Gamertag that downloaded it must be signed into Live, whereas all profiles can use it on the original console, unless you transfer the licenses with the DRM tool of course.

Usually it's a licensing issue. If you had gotten a new console or had yours repaired, you would need to perform a license transfer.

Actually, download content is not transferrable between profiles. If you are trying to transfer it to another profile, that will not work.

A license transfer switches it between consoles, but does not change the registration on which gamertag downloaded it.

Once fully transferred to another console, license and all, other profiles should be able to play it though.

To let someone else use the content license, you must download your Xbox Live profile to their Xbox 360 console. Then, transfer your content licenses to that Xbox 360 console.

After you transfer your content, other profiles can use the content on that console.

If you want to use the content with your profile then downloading the profile on the other xbox and using the content there would be available. However, if you are wanting to buy a game for another profile, where your own profile won't necessarily be on
that xbox then it would be easier to transfer microsoft points to the other profile on that xbox and download the content from that profile.
