    So today around 10:30ish this morning I try to join my friend who uses a pc and I use a play station. We’ve been playing today for a few weeks now no issues. However today when I go to join him in his world it pops up that I need to authenticate to Microsoft service. I have the authenticate app and I log out of my Microsoft account and log in using the app and I go to join and it says the same thing. I fix the time and date on my play station. We haven’t changed any settings to cause it not to let me join. I have good Wi-Fi cause I can join realms and he can join my worlds. I just can’t join any of his. Again he hasn’t changed a single setting to make this a problem. So I don’t understand. I’ve tried turning off my PlayStation and reseting it. I have no idea what to do now and it’s starting to get a little aggravating. I’ve spent hours trying to figure out was wrong.

    Gears did not have cross platform play. Shadowrun was cross-platform.

    Cross platform play isn't exactly unfair. There are assists on console/controller that the keyboard and mouse players don't receive (like aim assist) which helps make it easier to aim and shoot.

    When you have console gamers playing against PC gamers, you'll always have some sort of unfair advantage in favor of the PC gamers. Whether it's keyboard/mouse or just that their hardware is better and can run the games better. I'm looking forward to cross
    platform with Xbox users playing against PlayStation. I know initially Sony was against it, but from what I've read they seem to be warming up to the idea more.
