Playing ARK Ascended via Game Pass shows Xbox console as the platform but its actually a PC...

If you're playing via cloud you're playing the console

Maybe I'm mistaken but there are apps that allow PS 5 users to run games that are not native to the platform. Is there something similar for Xbox?

PS5 can't play PC games either.

The PS Now service can stream old PS2 and PS3 games via an app, but an actual PS5 isn't necessary as you can also do this via PC, the same way as Xbox Ultimate doesn't need an Xbox to play its cloud games.

As before it's not possible to actually download PC games on an Xbox console.

actually, talking to wildcard will do nothing as ark ascended is currently being validated by Microsoft themselves right now and has been for the past 80hours as xbox pc is still on version 46.2 and all other os's are on version 47.1

The title you are referring too, was discontinued on Xbox 360.
