Playing Advanced Warfare online with 2 consoles

My kids were trying to play AW at the same time tonight and only one would connect to the server at a time.

The problem definitely lies with the port being used.

The first Xbox to open a port via UPNP gets 3076. This works fine and can connect every time. The second Xbox opens port 3074 and never gets connected. It seems like there's a problem on the server end when communicating on port 3074.

I can get both of the consoles working with multiplayer, but only one at a time. I need to clear the UPNP assignments on the router and force the Xbox to reopen a port by cycling the power on the console or the network hub.

Like I said, the first console to open a port uses 3076, the second uses 3074. The second one can never connect to AW servers.

Is this possibly a temporary problem or is there some way to pass this info on to get the problem verified and fixed?

2 profiles 1 Xbox

I have 1 Xbox one, 1 copy of Advanced Warfare, and 2 Xbox live gold accounts. Can both accounts play Advanced warfare online? (not at the same time)

 

According to Activision support there's no reason why the game shouldn't connect using port 3074..

Just in case it helps anyone out, I decided to manually forward port 3075 to one console and 3076 to the other. I was able to keep UPNP enabled for other stuff by disabling 3074-3076 in my UPNP con.

Both games connect perfectly now at the same time. I'm still not sure why it won't connect using port 3074, but I'll let someone else worry about that.
