    Playing 360 cd’s on Xbox One X


    My Xbox One X is only a year old and when i first got it it played my 360 cd’s just fine. For about 2 months now ive been trying to play Elder Scrolls Oblivion and all my other games it doest read them at all not even my mint condition Morrowind. So today
    i bought Oblivion brand new at the store the one that says Xbox one on it still doesnt work. Xbox one games work no problem and ive tried all troubleshooting options. My question is if its a hardware or a software problem? When i boot up the Blu-ray app it
    detects a disc in the drive but why isnt it reading?

    Cant buy Xbox 360 game on Xbox one?

    No it must be on that device.

    It isnt like like they had removed the option to install 360 games on xbox one?

    I can buy it with a digital code from a internet store, for 3x the price, just affraid it wont work. Do the one x read 360 cds if i buy it on cd?

    Can the xBox play DVD-RAM discs?

    it can, it may have region locks for your area but yes the xbox one can play cd, dvd, blu-ray, and if you have the x/s 4k blu ray

    The console should be able to play CD's. You can also connect your 360 to the HDMI in port on the back of the Xbox One and access it with the Xbox Go To TV command.
