Players send in falls reports and get peoples accounts reputation messed up

Player alphamaine67814 and player dynastymaker00 harrased me and my friend and sent in a falls report and got my reputation screwed up I was sent here by support I told them I contacted Microsoft and so did my buddy they treatened to sue my friend and I
want there names to be know that they are cheaters in games and when they are confronted they report u saying you threatened them and harrased them

Giving bad rep

What gets me is that there are 2 other levels before hitting Red "Avoid Me" status. They saw their status dropping and chose to ignore it.

A light green level which is defined as "A user whose reputation score has fallen due to many reports of bad behavior over the course of many gaming sessions."

and an orange level which is defined as "A user whose reputation score has continued to fall due to many reports of bad behavior. If this downward trend continues, the user will begin to be matched with only other low-reputation players."

The reputation system is messed up the last I heard, and I believe they are working on it, but I don't see how getting 5 stars is that important to you, I doubt people will judge you that seriously on that, specially since the reputation system is messed
up, at least the last I heard it was.

Don't fall to the ''avoid me'' reputation since you cannot get out of that. Don't send messages or rage or quit out of matches. I have now a ''avoid me'' reputation for 1 month and theres no way to bring it back up. Goodluck with that

You just admitted that by sending "him a few words" that you probably broke the Code of Conduct.

The person reported your message with those "few words", and the Enforcement Team decided, that this was indeed a violation of the Code of Conduct, and issued a suspension.

So for the future: Do NOT send people messages with "a few words".

Send them a polite message like "Hey, that Team Kill was not nice. Could you please cut that out? Thanks!"

If they still continue to team kill, report that player, and in the reason for the report choose the appropriate category.

This report will then reduce that person's reputation, and eventually they can only play with other people that have a bad reputation.

To prevent future suspensions: NEVER EVER send someone a message with curse words or threats or anything like that. These are violations to the Microsoft Code of Conduct, that you agreed to adhere to when you signed up for Xbox Live.

The people will simply report your message, and will then get you suspended.

Hi there,

Reputation can be decreased based on reports against you from a while ago, not just recently. The system makes sure that most reports against you that are fake, or done out of jealousy etc. are filtered out. Only genuine reports against you will be counted.

You can get your reputation back up by playing online with other 'Avoid me' players, and avoiding sending bad messages, or even talking in game chat.
