Players no longer paying full insurance when destroying personal vehicles?

Just wondering if this was a recent change from the latest patch, but now when my personal vehicle is getting destroyed online, the players responsible no longer have to cover my entire claim. They've only been paying a portion of it, and it's costing me
more than it's worth to drive any kind of nice car around online (1k out of 8k for Cheetah, 3k out of 9k for XF, etc). What's the deal? There's no indirect explosions or anything, they're directly destroying my vehicle and haven't had to cover the cost.

Just curious if this was a recent change and what dictates the amount they have to pay, since it seems to change from time to time.

Killing other players who don't have bounties on them, destroying or stealing other players personal cars.

Actually, only destroying their personal vehicle does. Killing them doesn't factor it in, neither does taking their ride. Quitting jobs does, as the OP pointed out. As for any other forms, not too certain but it should tell you in a prompt that what you
did is considered bad sport material.

 

Are they just rolling up and destroying it?

Or are you shooting at them, getting into gun fights, then your car gets destroyed?

 

Nope, usually just a sticky bomb on my car and done. And I have to fork over 75% of the claim. There has been an instance where we've run into each other's vehicles, but I wasn't shooting at his, and when I get blown up from his gunfire or bombs, I still
have to pay.

 

Hmm. That's weird. I've had mine blown up similarly and they've had to pay full.

 

They are most likely broke. If you have no money to cover the cost then the owner has to pay it. Quite a BS move. If they keep it up they will be put in the bad sport rooms.

 

^ this is basically why I have stopped playing, can have all my money gona in an instant because of this bug.

 

The only money that has been taken away was mod money.

 

Wow, that totally blows. Wish they could implement a debt system, put those players into the negatives. Oh well, thanks for the quick answer guys.

 

Yeah they should go into negatives and shouldn't be able to buy anything until they get positive again. Maybe even start repo'ing cars.

 

They definitely need a better system to nab those broke bundies. There were a few times where I flatout just deliberately destroyed a cars and didn't get done for it, which I was surprised.

 

Not true I had 1.9 million before a Modder added millions to me in gifted cash when they removed the mod money they left me with 500k taking away 1.4 million
