gamer [Mod Removed] harassed me in grand theft auto online and he threatened if during the heist I go into my personal vehicle and not his, he will console ban me

Please help me - Being harassed on XBL

Someone is constantly sending me threatening messages and hitting me offline. He's sent me my own ip address to me in a message to try and scare me, I have valid proof that he's been threatening to get my account banned and I keep getting hit offline. Is there anything I can do about this if I can show someone the messages that he's sending to me? I have no problem giving an employee my information for them to see the proof themselves.

forums.xbox.com/.../19139.aspx for steps to avoid and block communications from that player. Don't call out other gamertags and in the future post issues like this in forum 11, communicating on xbox live, as this forum is more for issues connecting to live.

You would need to file a complaint on him via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate him. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

Xbox Enforcement if you need information and support. Also if he does try banning you and he succeeds you can file a case review.

file a complaint on him via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate they usually do it pretty quick.

Xbox Enforcement if you need information and support. Also if he does try banning you and he succeeds you can file a case review.

You're doing it wrong. I've moderated forums before. I've let the trash talking slide, but any perceived threat, real or fake, such as the OP's topic, is dealt with, from a warning, to being banished. If I were handing this, 3 month suspension for the OP's
harasser. But that's my opinion. Keep that in mind.

I'd allow the calling out of other gamers on the forums, if it's a case like this, and if it falls under Violations of either the Xbox Live service or the Code of Conduct. Anything below this I would not allow. The Community needs to know about this, even
if Enforcement has been told about it.

In fact, you could just explain the situation without threatening me with "untimely console ban".
