Player left out details now I'm banned.

The player who got me banned called me bad 5 times and basically said my internet suck when his connection was jumping from 30 to 90 repeatedly and you could see the effects in game. They persisted on calling me bad while I said nothing hostile until I couldnt
take it and called them a bitch I then told them why I had said it and the reason was they were very hostile towards me because I accused him of lag switching. Please look into this suspension on the Gamertag of * HD* I would much appreciate it if my
ban could be lifted before this friday the 16th. It isn't fair that someone can get you banned when in fact that started it to get you to retaliate I just got unbanned from a 3 month suspension and have been good until this player pushed me to the edge. If
I can't get the ban lifted ban me from communicating with strangers because they are so very childish.

I can't play overwatch competitive

I was playing a game and got kicked out at the end and than now if I try to play competitive it says I can't play while suspended or banned and it doesn't even give me a time even though I never left the game by choice please help

Players cannot ban you. Only the enforcement team can.

It doesnt matter who started it. If someone is harrasing you then all you are allowed to do is block and report the person, nothing more.

If you retaliate and respond with something that breaks the code of conduct (what you responded with does break the code of conduct) then you are just as likely to be suspended as the other person.

That being said no one on the forums or at support can do anything about enforcement issues.

Only the enforcement team handles that and they can only be contacted by filing a case review (if the suspension is eligible for one).

Since you already admitted to sending a message that breaks the code of conduct then i wouldnt hold your breath on having the suspension removed early. Odds are it wont be.

Next time you run into someone like that just block and report them. Dont feed the trolls.

apparently people dont understand. The play Violated it first and He is still able to send messages I checked with another account, the other person should be banned as well or my ban should be lifted. This isn't very fair to the community, they really need
to update the code of conduct and read full conversations before banning players. I've already submitted it for review and talked to support which let me to the forums with the case #. You can tell me things I already know but it's rediculous I'm banned and
they arent when we both broke the Code of Conduct.

I think that it should depend on how old or young the person is in order to get someone banned for foul language. If I'm playing an M+ and curse I shouldn't get banned. But I did Bully the perason after they called me "Bad" 5 times in a row. Really would
like the other person banned or mine lifted since they arent banned.

in order for players to see the message they have to accept the message and if they accept the message they can't report what ever it says since they literally gave consent to read it.

The system needs a full rework it wastes peoples money to pay for something and get banned from it because someon bullies them and they stand up for them selves and get reported.

What i meant is players cannot ban you directly. They report you, said report gets investigated by the enforcement team to determine the validity of the report, then if it is valid enforcement action is taken. If the report is NOT valid then no action is
taken and the person who filed said report could be banned for false reports.

You can stand up for yourself as long as that doesnt involve breaking the code of conduct. If you respond with something against the code of conduct then you broke the rules too.

You are not exempt from the rules just because 'They started it first'

It doesnt matter who starts it. What matters is if you broke the code of conduct or not which in this case you did which is why you are suspended.

If you already filed for a case review then you will have to wait for a response. If the case review was upheld then there is nothing else you can do but wait out the suspension.
