Player is threatening to "Dox" me

So basically the individual is informing you that you have been targeted by a group or their friends and that they are going to attack you in this manner.

This is a class 3 felony subject to up to 10 years in prison and needs to legally be reported to the authorities as an online crime.

I recommend getting a case number report from Microsoft providing details to give to the agent from the FBI and or www.IC3.com agent whom takes your case. They will contact Microsoft directly to collect additional information once you've made a proper report.

In the mean time, I recommend that you change your passwords, add additional security or 2-step verification to your account. Possibly contacting a VPN group to add security as they may also attempt DOS and even DDOS attacks directly to your modem, if they haven't already started doing so.

This has been happening to a lot of people I know recently and is a group of kids wrecking havoc online..

Then why is another player able to tell me I'm dog s-word puddle water and I report them and they not get even comm banned but if I call someone an a hole I get permabanned? I mean just last night someone threatened to dox me, harass all my friends list, social media, threaten my family and loved ones and I report them and nothing. Nothing happens. So obviously there is a list of smack talk that seems to be allowed.

Support does not fully understand how the forums work and typically sends people here with the wrong advice. Calling out other gamers is against forum rules and the enforcement team don't take complaints via the forum.

Didn't someone just get done telling you not to post someone else's tag?
