Player attempts to show my sister himself NUDE.

My sister got this message about a man asking to have a Kinect chat with a man who is believed to be older than her. She immediately deleted the message and told her friends to delete him too. one of the people she told ended up telling her mother about
the situation and the mother notified me about this situation. i believe it occurred this last week (Thursday my sister told me). I don't want this man exposing himself to my sister, it's against the law and The Terms of Service and Use for Xbox Live. Please
deal with this ASAP!!!

You were misinformed to post here there is an no naming and shaming policy on the forums

Sadly support continue to send people here to 'report' players, woefully ignorant of the fact is is more likely to get the victim suspended from here than it is the other person from LIVE.

 

I called Xbox Support and 'roleplayed' a couple of scenarios to see what responses I got from them. Some of them do seem to think that any question about policy enforcement (including reporting a player) should be handled in the forums. Some of those reps
did specify the account suspension forums, some did not. Other reps were good about instructing me to only file reports through the console. I tried prompting them about the forums, and they jumped right on top of it, telling me the account suspension forums
were only for users whose accounts were suspended, to seek clarification about that. So, overall, mixed results. Hopefully they get the good info out to more people. Would love to see this issue resolved.

Also, @OP: If kids are using actual child accounts, then there are parental controls that block Kinect video use, restrict messaging to Friends Only, and even enforce Friend List screening, so kids can't even add people to their Friends list without parents
signing off on it. Parental controls are there to help, but they're not useful unless you use them. If the kids are using adult accounts, then at least they have privacy settings, but those aren't locked down in any meaningful way.

Report the users messages on your console. Posting it on here won't do you any good and sending an angry mob after a guy is childish.

If there is an offense to be had, The Xbox Live team will definitely put the boot down within a months time.

 

It may help more if your sister takes action.... Block communications, File a report.. ETC.... Your not helping much because, Nobody here can do anything for your sisters account. GOOD LUCK!!!
