    Player 1 controller issue


    Hello,

    Recently downloaded and the controls for look and move are flipped on the player 1 controller, the d-pad still moved the character. If playing co-op the player 2 controller is correct and player 1 stays the same, even if you drop in and out.

    I've deleted the game, cleared the cache, powered of and reloaded and same issue.

    Any help would be great.

    Xbox controller trouble

    I'm having some issue with my controller.

    I try and sync it to my Xbox but my controller won't show light up as player 1, all four lights just keep blinking, I thought my controller wasn't connecting to the Xbox at all, but I can turn on my xbox using the controller so that must mean the controller
    is connected to the console is some way right?

    So even though there obviously connected why can't I get my controller to show player 1?

    Local Multiplayer stopped working (2nd Controller not working)

    I have been playing local 2p multiplayer for a few days with no problems. Then I turn on the game a few days later and the second controller is no longer working. I am in the lobby and the 2nd players controller will not recognize the menu button (start
    button) to join the match. I press the xbox button with said controller and then press the menu button and it works just fine, so the button itself works, killer instinct just doesnt recognize it. So i turn off the xbox, turn it back on but reassign the controllers
    so that controller is now player 1 and the other controller is player 2. Same issue, player 1 works just fine, but player 2 cannot join.

    Oddly enough if i close and reopen killer instict the 2nd controller can skip the opening movies with the menu button, but cant get past the title screen with the menu button.

    So its 100% a game issue, not a controller issue, or a sync issue, or an xbox one issue, its a game issue.$40 not well spent since i only got it for local MP.

    Player 1 controller issue

    Update: After reinstalling the game, the controllers for both single player and co-op have the look and move flipped on the controller sticks.

    Hello. As I said on the original post I log in as Razhiel66 and player 2 logs in as (1). The issue is when we go to split screen both controllers are mixed up and controller player 1 or a mixture of both characters. The xbox one controllers and now I have tried the most recent xbox controller have these issues. Is there a way to fix the controller issue?

    Thank you for replying. The controller is always detected. Yes, Win10 is updated and it keeps the drivers updated.

    The issue is that after opening a game, the controller moves from Player 1 to Player 2. I cannot move it back to Player 1 without a reboot. It has ruined the gaming experience.

    I suspect some of the issue is with the xbox gamebar software.

    Okay. Here's a list of what I did to try and trouble-shoot the issue.

    1 - Turned off and unplugged XBOX 360. Plugged in 3 Microsoft brand wired controllers into USB ports on the back. Plugged in XBOX 360 and powered on. All 3 controllers show Player 1. Unplugged each controller individually at the in-line release/breakaway
    connector and reconnected. No change. Each still shows Player 1.

    2 - Turned off and unplugged XBOX 360. Plugged in 1 Microsoft brand wireless controller into USB port on front (I know it's a wireless controller but this one is used and the rechargeable battery is completely dead and won't hold a charge.). Plugged in
    3 Microsoft brand wired controllers into USB ports on the back. Plugged in XBOX 360 and powered on. All 3 regular wired controllers show Player 1. Wireless controller that's plugged into a USB port shows as Player 2.

    Both Wired Controllers are Player 1

    I have tried "tricking" the system before by using my wireless controllers. What I did was turned on both wireless controllers which came on as 1 and 2 . Then plugging in a wired controller for player 3. Then turning off the player 1 wireless controller
    and plugging in the second wired controller which I thought would star up as player 1, but it went to player 3 as well.

    I will try what you are suggesting and report back it that works.
