    When you run the network diagnose test on your console, does it fail to connect to the Internet?

    Do you have the option to connect an Ethernet cable with your console instaed?

    Could you also provide the make and model of your router, along with the make and model of your modem (if this is not a single device).

    You may also provide the name of your Internet Service Provider.

    Can't connect to xbox live.

    I've been connected to xbox live all day. I cut my xbox off for a while, and went to play online again but i can't connect. reset router, pc still connected to internet, everythings good, but i can't connect to xbox live. has this happened to anybody else?

    Hi,

    this has been going on for a week+ now, on two consoles, One elite and One X. Top right corner says it's connecting and doesn't pull profile data, nothing. Can't play horde, can't play competitive.

    Cable and wifi, NAT verified as open, all services available, everything power-cycled, what else do I do?

    Comparing XBOX to any other customer product.

    you guys do understand the 24 hour cut off means....

    You are playing a SP game.... you internet goes out for some weird reason..... after 24 hours... when your XB1 cannot find the internet.. it will shut down all games.... Once the connection is re-established....your game will then play again ....and the
    24 hour cycle starts again...

    the connection will be fast and short only for verification purposes and/or updates etc

    Now that being said... all XB1s will be WIFI if your personal land line internets go down and you cannot find a WIFI signal... that is not MS problem...

    So people with bad internet connection aside....

    Not worried. In the last two years since moving house my internet has been down for one afternoon. Since getting the internet almost 20 years ago, don't think I've ever had downtime close to 24 hours.

    If it went down long enough for Xbox to complain about needing to refresh licensing, I'd share WiFi from my phone or connect to 4 of the 20 odd neighbour WiFi networks that are publically shared though BT.

    My xbox has been fine until today I went to play cod and it said I couldn't connect to xbox live so I kept trying and it still wouldn't work. When I check network settings it says that I am connected to the internet and that everything is fine yet I still
    can't connect to xbox live. So after 3 hours of trying to fix it I decided to reset my xbox and now it says that I can't do the update I need to start my xbox because of my network connection but once again I check my network connection and it says everything
    is fine. Any ideas?
