Playdates?

Me and Codger introduced MajorMatty to the Oval track a few nights back, trouble is we "forgot" to tell him damage was on, he was a little surprised ;-)

 

LOL! Hope you all had some good laughs. Nothing more fun then running a 5mph car into another car going at 80mph

We got to hit one up soon. It was too funny!

 

I'm looking forward to the "Screaming Chicken" ( I believe that's what Mr Peddler called it? ) again, that was a great laugh.

On a side note, I was looking at my Forza 5 stats yesterday, nearly 10,000 miles driven, 96 hours time driven, nearly 890 races completed, I really should get out more.

I'm hoping that some Poker games make it to Xbox One, they always make a good evening in my experience playing with friends.

 

You need to get out more? The graphics out there really are top quality

Joke joke, theres nothing wrong with hitting a game hard. Your only getting the moneys worth after all Poker games on the x1 would be nice. I was kinda hoping WSOP would of got a revamp but I haven't heard any news on that

 

I definitely got my moneys worth, I got Forza 5 free with the Xbox One lol but I wouldn't have been disappointed at all if it was a title I paid for, best racing game I've personally played.

I know OXM had an article towards the end of last year about a few poker games making their way to Xbox One. I gather there still out there somewhere so fingers crossed we will get one sooner rather than later.

 

Forza would be my choice as well, so much fun!

 

Cloud, with the amount we've been on Titanfall together, how have you not mentioned this thread yet?!

The idea of a stickied thread of "hey, I'm going to be on PvZ tomorrow at 8" is a good idea but, in my view, should be kept separate from UK Forum Playdates, hosted by Cloud or DL9 (or whatever he's calling himself) or whoever they delegate to. The stickied
thread would make this more of a community on the console itself, to complement people talking about the games and hardware on here - actually playing it together on a more regular basis on the console.

As for the playdates, the alternating between 360 and One fortnightly seems like a good idea.

All the usual suspects should be featured - Titanfall (both), Forza (One), CoD/BF (both), PvZ (both), whatever else I have forgotten, and the choice is reached perhaps by letting the community vote. For instance, Cloud sets a time and says it's either Titanfall
or Forza 5 on Xbox One (obviously it has to be something he owns), majority wins and that's the game of choice.

 

I guess there will be a few of us picking up Trials Fusion in May? Be good to get some sort of game/comp going on that aswell.

£2 more digitally mate and you get it 2 days earlier if that helps mate? and Lofty maybe you should get it in April like the rest of us ? don't want you lagging behind now

 

Forza is great for pure racing but for fun NFS Rivals is better.

Yeah Maxen I am keen on the idea, It gives you all more control and accessibility to give eachother a quick heads up. Some may argue that the console is there for this but not everyone has everyone on their buddy list and its a good way to get people circulating,
that, and its a tad bit more convenient. I am probably going to move forward with this idea and pin one up for you all.

I am trying to build my library a little bit more so I have more to give you guys when a Playdate is hosted but I like the vote idea. I am perfectly happy to list what I have and give you guys the choice. I have a pretty good idea on what times are good
for you all.

Trials is a great idea, I will be getting that one when it hits

Competitions / tournaments / play offs, everything I like and should be good for us all to have bragging rights, or me at least, when I own you all
