You can also report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further:

1. On your console, install the
   Xbox Insider Hub app (if you don’t already have it).
   
2. Hold down the Xbox button on the controller.
3. On the power menu, select Report a problem.
4. Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.
   

Wasted over an hour with resetting my password(why does the Microsoft website accept my longer, 17-digit password, but xbox360 only accepts 16-digit???) Did not work after downloading profile, again. The message window still reads "Playback Error", Status
code: c101a3ff. Help.

power cycling the console. Next try clearing out the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address):

Clear and Restart

Let's try to get this fixed up for you. Please, try clearing the cache on your console by doing the following:

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Storage

Highlight but don’t select a storage device, and then press Y on your controller for Device Options.

On the Device Options screen, select Clear System Cache

When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes

Afterwards, simply restart the console. Let us know if this helps!
