    Play with Game Pass not working on PC


    When logged into Xbox app on Windows 10, I try to install a game from Game Pass, using the green "Play with Game Pass" but it takes me to a screen to subscribe to PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate, even though I am already a subscriber of Game Pass Ultimate. I have checked and made sure I am logged in with the correct account. I can use the same account to download the same game on Xbox Game Pass, but it doesn't work on PC

    If I buy Ultimate on my pc will it also work for Xbox?

    Game Pass Ultimate contains Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, EA Play (XBOX & PC), Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Live Gold. So yes, it will work on Xbox and PC.

    Oh, I see. I am afraid game pass for console does not work on PC. The game is indeed play-anywhere but since your subscription is only for console, it will only work on console. If you'll get game pass Ultimate, you'll be able to play FH5 both on Xbox and PC since the subscription includes game pass for Xbox & PC, Xbox Live, and EA play.

    If any of the games are also Play Anywhere games, they can be played from the console, but otherwise, the games with Game Pass for PC will only work on the PC.

    I would like to know if getting xbox live core for a 12 month subscription will be able to put onto my pc. (I don't have an xbox just a pc)

    Game Pass Core would pretty much be useless on a PC. It's primarily to allow you to play games online, which is not required for that on PC. Core doesn't have as many games included with it as PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate and only a few of those might work on PC.

    about forza horizon 4 i have a question with the xbox ultimate thing

    Game Pass Ultimate is just a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass, and Game Pass for PC. So games downloaded from Game Pass will work the same as they do with standard Game Pass versus Ultimate.

    Since Forza is a Play Anywhere title, you an download it on both the PC and console without needing Game Pass for PC or Game Pass Ultimate.
