"Play To" function no longer works?

I have been using the Play to function on my PC to stream video to my Xbox One successfully for some time now. Today I attempted to watch something, and I got a message that said "The device could not locate the media. Please make sure the media storage
device is connected to the network and the media is available and try again." Detail shows a UPnP Error 716. I thought I might just have a corrupted file or some such, so I tried another video, and another, and another. All attempts were met with no success.
I have since restarted both the computer and the Xbox One, and nothing has changed.

This was working as recently as last night, and I haven't made any changes to either my PC, Xbox One, or Network

Anyone else kinda nnoyed at the silence of MS since launch?

It will most likely function better without the latency .

Slight latency Vs 3+ buttons/submenus to get through to get to one voice command function.

I'm having the exact same problem since the May update installed last night. Has the update installed for you?

 

I don't think it installed last night, I fell asleep watching Let's Play on YouTube and it was still going through the playlist when I woke up. I think it installed maybe Tuesday night for me? I am almost entirely certain I've used it since the update,
but I could be mistaken.

 

It could be coincidence indeed. I know I allowed the update last night and then used the Media Player to watch some shows. I didn't try to use Play To until this evening and no luck. I don't know for sure if it started right after the update.

I also find that after I try to use Play To, Xbox Video does respond but stays black and goes to the home screen. After that I am unable to open Xbox Video at all. I suspect this isn't a local problem but an Xbox Video problem.

 

I got it.

Uninstall Xbox Video, and then re-download and install. Works fine now.

 

After uninstalling and re-installing Xbox Video, it works again.

That was the only thing I had yet to try.

 

Uninstall and reinstall Xbox Video, that did the trick for me just now.

Well this is going to sound dumb but: I can't even find xbox video to delete it. I know its on my computer because that is what open when I play a video on my computer. I've been to "my apps." I've gone to the windows uninstaller. I tried to right click
on the shortcut to get the target address but it just says "pin to home."

I'm using the windows 10 preview, if that makes a difference. Driving me nuts!
